// Principles — 4 rules
How I design
Four rules I keep coming back to. They settle most design calls before anyone opens a file.
// Principle 01
Coherence over consistency
Consistent brands repeat their rules. Coherent ones feel like every piece came from the same world, so even quick decisions look intentional.
// Principle 02
Write the code before the interface
Before the copy, visuals or process, decide what the world is: what it believes, what it rejects, what it remembers.
// Principle 03
Refuse to fake depth
Build the system, scaffolding and structure first. Polish comes last, on top of something real.
// Principle 04
A cinematic point of view
Treat each project as worldbuilding, with a story behind it and a reason for every frame.
